ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Consistent and punctual "on site" attendance at the worksite is an essential job function Works with small groups of students, as directed by the teacher, to reinforce directions or tutor in needed areas Listens to students read, and reads to students Helps students with make-up work Assists in individual or group activities, games, flash cards, computers, etc. Assists students in interpreting and following directions of teacher Drills - to reinforce any skill the teacher has taught Alerts teacher to needs of students Assists teacher in checking progress of individualized study projects Supervises lunchroom, playground, halls, classrooms and other assigned activities Reserves instructional media Assists with the physical and health needs of the children Does miscellaneous typing and filing Inventories books, materials and equipment Assists when emergencies arise Performs other delegated responsibilities assigned by teacher or administrator
