This philosophy is expounded by our teachers every day and is the Learning Adventures difference. Lead Teacher Experienced early childhood teacher to join our close knit team!
Ideal candidate will be:
high energy self motivated able to multi-task - you will manage your OWN class! have a passion for young children (preschool age preferred) great sense of humor! Previous experience caring for young children ages 12 months to 4 years, is helpful. Previous experience at a childcare center is preferred. Must have the ability to work and be comfortable with exercising good judgement and decision making skills, as well as, maintaining a safe environment at all times. Able to work in a team environment, yet can manage your own classroom independently Ability to manage and create routines for young children Have great communication skills with children, parents, and co-workers Available to work between the hours of 7:15am - 5:15pm. Hours/shifts are flexible. Ideal candidate will be available 2 afternoons/week until 5pm, with a combination of early and late shifts - 8 hours/each.
Requirements:
Minimum of 9 credits in Early Childhood Education, degree preferred or equivalent experience/in school CPR/First Aid Certified Must be able to pass a
