Full Job Description Description:
Riddle Brook Elementary School, in partnership with The New England Center for Children(NECC), is seeking a dynamic candidate for a full-time intensive instruction paraprofessional position to work with children with intensive special needs.

Position is available immediately and includes hours worked in the summer.
Job Summary:
Must be able to understand and assist with instruction and behavior management that is targeted to meet the specific needs of students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans.

Provide direct educational services, ensure safety of all students, incorporate specific educational objectives into ongoing activities, collect data, maintain student specific materials and reinforcers.

In addition to maintaining confidentiality, the candidate should possess strong communication skills, be willing to take direction from case managers/lead teachers, and should have the ability to understand and assist with instruction and behavior management that is targeted to meet the specific needs of students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans. Works under the direction of the Intensive Instruction Classroom, NECC Clinical Supervisor or Administrator. Please see the attached document for specific job descriptions and qualifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Previous special education experience preferred.
