This full-time contract role runs ASAP through June 2027, providing you with a rewarding chance to guide students with intensive needs in a tailored Life Skills program. With only three students currently enrolled, you'll be able to deliver deeply personalized instruction, case management, and support.

What You'll Bring:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with elementary or middle school students, particularly those with intensive needs or requiring life skills instruction Strong case management and documentation abilities Positive collaboration skills and adaptability Excellent communication with students, families, and colleagues

Your Responsibilities:

Serve as special education teacher and case manager for a small group of grades 5/6 students (currently three, life skills/intensive needs) Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide direct instruction and support in life skills, social, and academic areas Collaborate with related service providers, general education staff, and families Maintain accurate records and communicate student progress Support the overall goals of the special education department
