Job Description

Start an exciting contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher supporting K-12 students near Concord, NH. This full-time role runs from August 2026 through November 2026, providing a 12-week assignment in a dynamic school environment. With a weekly schedule of 32 to 37.5 hours Monday through Friday, you'll make a significant impact on students who need individualized support and guidance.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification (NH or eligible for reciprocity) Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Excellent classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs Collaborative spirit for working closely with families, staff, and related service providers
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver differentiated instruction for students with diverse exceptionalities Write, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Evaluate student progress and adjust plans based on assessment data Work collaboratively with general educators, paraprofessionals, and ancillary staff Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student growth and needs Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment focused on student achievement Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations
