Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Bring your dedication and expertise in special education to an engaging contract opportunity starting August 2026 through June 2027. This full-time assignment plays a vital role in supporting students in second and fifth grades, working across two school locations in the Concord, NH area. You'll collaborate closely with dynamic educational teams and make an impactful difference in the academic and personal growth of approximately 15 students.

Qualifications & Experience:

Certified Special Education Teacher with credentials valid for New Hampshire Experience teaching or supporting students in elementary grades (second and/or fifth preferred) Proven ability to manage cases for students with IEPs, including developing plans and collaborating with families and specialists Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Flexibility to travel between two school locations Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students

Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and small group instruction for students in both 2nd and 5th grades Serve as case manager for students on your caseload, overseeing IEP development, implementation, and progress reporting Support collaboration between general education teachers, support staff, and families Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet a range of learning needs Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and team conferences Foster a positive, encouraging classroom atmosphere across multiple settings This contract position offers the chance to grow professionally as you work with a supportive staff committed to student success.
