Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting a 5th grade student by delivering virtual Specially Designed Instruction as a dedicated Special Education Teacher. This short-term position is ideal for professionals excited to make a meaningful difference in a one-on-one learning environment. You'll provide direct, individualized instruction to a single student for two hours per week, with additional indirect time available. The flexible schedule allows you to coordinate sessions based on both your availability and the needs of the student. While the role is anticipated to last from a couple of weeks up to a month, extensions may occur depending on placement timelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification Strong experience providing virtual instruction in special education settings Ability to tailor lessons for individual student needs, focusing on personal growth and skill acquisition Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families, students, and multidisciplinary teams Organized, responsive, and adaptive to changes in student support plans
What You'll Do:
