Job Description

Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Counselor to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a 5th-grade student in a school setting virtually. This short-term assignment is ideal for professionals passionate about providing personalized guidance and making a positive difference, even in brief but impactful engagements. In this role, you'll deliver 1:1 virtual counseling services for one hour each week, with the possibility of additional indirect time as needed. Your support will be crucial as the district finalizes plans for an out-of-district placement for the student. The duration of this assignment is expected to be a couple of weeks to one month, though it may be adjusted based on ongoing needs. Enjoy the flexibility to coordinate your schedule collaboratively to best support both the student and other team members.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Active state licensure or certification as a School Counselor or Counselor Previous experience working with elementary-age students, ideally in a school or virtual environment Strong communication and rapport-building skills with children and families Ability to provide tailored support in a virtual, one-on-one setting Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing circumstances
