Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (B.A.) required Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Experience working 1:1 with pediatric learners, ideally in a school setting Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with educational teams Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, individualized instruction and support to a student with visual impairments Develop and implement educational plans tailored to the students needs and abilities Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and family members to ensure holistic support and goal achievement Conduct ongoing assessment and progress monitoring to adapt strategies as necessary Support the students social, emotional, and academic development within the school community
