Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a significant impact by supporting students with special needs in a self-contained classroom environment near Manchester, NH. This full-time contract position works with children aged 6 to 14, offering a unique opportunity to guide learners who present a variety of severe behavioral challenges.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification required Experience or strong interest in self-contained classroom settings Skilled in de-escalation techniques and behavior intervention strategies Proven ability to adapt instruction for students with a range of disabilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Previous work with students displaying severe behaviors strongly preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
