For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Responsibilities Provide individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals. Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to student needs. Implement positive behavioral supports and interventions. Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families. Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring. Maintain compliance with state and special education requirements.
