Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by providing essential special education services to students in grades 6-12. This contract opportunity calls for a passionate Special Education Teacher eager to support learners with diverse needs. You'll collaborate within an educational setting to deliver personalized and small group instruction, helping every student reach their fullest potential.
Responsibilities include:
Provide direct 1:1 and small group special education instruction to students in grades 6-12. Tailor instructional strategies and lesson plans to meet each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. Track and report student progress, maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date records. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create cohesive education plans. Adapt classroom materials and utilize assistive technologies as necessary. Actively participate in IEP meetings and offer input on student progress and future goals. Stay current with best practices in special education, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Qualifications sought:
Active New Hampshire teaching license in Special Education (SPED). Familiarity and experience with delivering instruction to students with varying learning needs. Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging learning environment. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
