This full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners during the Full School Year (FSY).
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education Teaching certification Experience with elementary and/or middle school student populations Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking Ability to adapt instructional strategies to diverse learning needs Proficiency with classroom management in special education settings Effective communicator with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Previous contract or travel experience in education is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans aligned with students' IEP goals Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress Collaborate with general educators and support staff to promote inclusive learning Maintain detailed documentation and reporting in compliance with state and federal guidelines Utilize positive behavior supports to foster a productive classroom environment Communicate student growth and challenges with families and caregivers Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to overall program development
