Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs as a Special Education Teacher in the Swanzey, NH area. This contract-based opportunity offers flexibility, with openings for both part-time and full-time roles, across three vibrant school buildings serving students from 1st through 11th grade. You'll provide specialized instruction, working collaboratively within public charter schools and with students throughout the Keene area. As a Special Education Teacher, you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), adapting general education lessons, and fostering each child's strengths. The learning environments span three school buildings: one focused on grades 1-2, another on grades 9-11, and a third serving grades 9-12—allowing you to match your skills and interests with students' needs.

Qualifications:

Current New Hampshire Special Education Teacher Certification (required) Experience or commitment to working with students across elementary and secondary levels Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work on-site at assigned school locations Proven dedication to supporting students of varying abilities
