Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Special Needs caregiver Nemeth - 5.0 Bordentown, NJ Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Developmental disability care assistance Personal transportation assistance Experience working with adults with disabilities Passenger pickup and drop-off Full Job Description Overview Looking for a full-time caregiver for our Adult family member with Autism. She goes to the gym , swims on Fridays , and does 1-2 hours of volunteer work Monday thru Thursday which you would transport her to and assist with volunteering. Most of the time would be spent in our house, assisting her with crafts, making lunch, and basically just keeping an eye on her. Looking to start as soon as possible. Hours vary but start from 7:30-9 am and end between 3 and 5 pm. Pay would be through Easter Seals which would require CPR certification which they can arrange. You would transport her to activities in your car.
