Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a difference in the life of a young learner as a Special Education Teacher providing direct support to a preschool-aged student in a long-term care facility. This contract opportunity is ideal for an educator passionate about individualized instruction and working with students who require compassionate and adaptive education. This role involves delivering specialized instruction for 10 hours per week, split across at least three days to best accommodate the needs of the student and facility. Your flexibility and expertise will play a vital part in creating a consistent, supportive environment that encourages developmental and academic growth.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Special Education certification required Experience supporting preschool-aged children or early intervention strongly preferred Ability to collaborate with care facility staff and families to implement IEP goals Solid communication and documentation skills Adaptable, patient, and creative approach to teaching
