Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for providing clerical support to Connect Truck Shop Accounting through the processing and support of invoicing, material management and AP/AR activities. Duties /Responsibilities:
- Processing and coding invoices for three Truck Shops (this is main job duty and probably occupies most of this positions time)
- Assist TN Truck Shop with Inventory Management
- Review open POs at month end to ensure accurate accruals are recorded
- Serve a backup to assist with RCO Terminal invoice Processing as needed
- Review Vendor Statements to prevent delinquent or late invoice payments
- Enter Outside Service Work Orders into MGR Plus application (this is the application used by the Truck Shops)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Candidate should be able to process a large volume of paperwork with a high degree of accuracy.
- Successful candidate should be quality-minded, detail-oriented, have computer experience, be 10-key fluent, well organized, and have a positive and professional attitude.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary - candidate must be able to communicate with plant team members and vendors in a professional and helpful manner.
- Must be flexible team player.
- Handle stress with composure.
- The candidate must also work with a high level of confidentiality.
- Accounts payable, Oracle and Global software knowledge a plus.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft applications (specifically Excel) and some accounting experience is useful.
Physical Demands:
- Consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, adding machine, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
- Must be able to communicate with others via phone, Teams, email, and in person.
- Provide and exchange accurate information with others.
- Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
- Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
