Key Qualifications:
Valid NJ Teaching Certificate Special Education/Learning Disability Teacher endorsement (SPED/LDT-C for 26-27 school year) Strong background in student evaluations, particularly for elementary grades NJ Tech Certification Prior experience in special education at the elementary level highly valuedCore Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction to meet IEP goals for students with varied learning needs Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments, maintaining detailed documentation Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment across assigned campus locations Collaborate regularly with general educators, related service providers, and families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to ensure effective support plans Travel between multiple school sites as required; primary locations include Port Redding, Indiana Ave, Claremont Ave, and Kennedy Park schools This contract begins as soon as possible and runs through June 23, 2027, aligning with the full academic year. The standard schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, ensuring work-life balance and ample time for impactful preparation and collaboration. Start making a difference right away.
