9681895-07202 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher for a full school year. This contract position begins as soon as possible and extends through late June 2027, offering you stability and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Youll travel between four nearby school sites, with a home base for meetings and support but your services will be delivered directly in the assigned schools. Each day, youll work 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, managing a caseload of 30 to 40 students and helping them thrive throughout the academic year.

Qualifications:

Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate in Special Education and Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant Demonstrated experience in conducting educational evaluations Previous classroom teaching background with elementary-aged students preferred Strong collaborative and communication abilities Familiarity with multi-site operations and adaptability to new environments NJ Tech Certification required

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support for students across four school locations Develop and deliver lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs Perform educational evaluations to inform IEP development and student progress Collaborate with other educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain clear and accurate records for each student on your roster Adjust instructional strategies based on ongoing assessment data
