Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current certification in Special Education (state credentials required) Previous classroom experience working with students with learning differences or disabilities Ability to develop and modify individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication and organizational skills Dedication to fostering an inclusive and adaptive learning environment Knowledge of evidence-based instructional techniques and behavioral management
Key Responsibilities:
Create, review, and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and other staff to support students' integration and progress Provide differentiated instruction and utilize various tools to ensure accessibility for all learners Track student progress and report findings to parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams Employ positive reinforcement and proactive classroom management strategies Actively participate in professional development and staff meetings This opportunity offers you a chance to enrich your teaching career and expand your skill set in a community that values growth and student achievement.
