Job Description
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current certification in Special Education (required) Previous experience teaching or working with children who have special needs Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to create and adapt lesson plans tailored to individual student goals Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and review Patience, flexibility, and a passion for student successPrimary Responsibilities:
Design and implement engaging lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and multidisciplinary teams Track student progress, maintain records, and adjust strategies to support academic, social, and emotional growth Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to foster an inclusive classroom environment Participate in meetings, professional development, and parental conferences as needed Support students with adaptive materials and instructional modifications Enjoy the fulfillment of helping students thrive while gaining valuable experience in a rewarding educational environment.
