We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to work in a Pre-K1st Grade, self-contained Autism classroom serving six nonverbal students with the support of two paraprofessionals. This is a vital position designed to make an immediate and lasting impact, emphasizing both functional behavior and communication skills. Youll collaborate closely with a comprehensive team of professionalsincluding BCBA, OT, PT, and moreacross a network of similar classrooms. The daily schedule supports work-life balance, running from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, giving you structured hours and time to truly connect with your students.

Qualifications:

Current certification: TOSD + PreK-3 or TOH Proven experience in Autism classroom settings, particularly with nonverbal students Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based interventions for communication and behavior Passion for working with a high-needs population and commitment to fostering independence Strong team collaboration and communication skills
