Job Description
Spectrum360 is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team. This position involves working within a supportive educational environment aimed at fostering the developmental and lifelong learning of children, adolescents, and adults with autism and related disabilities. As a Special Education Teacher at Spectrum360, you will play a pivotal role in implementing educational plans that cater to the unique needs of each student and contribute towards their holistic development. Responsibilities Develop individualized educational programs (IEPs) tailored to the diverse needs of students. Deliver engaging and adaptive lessons suitable for students with special needs. Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and specialists to integrate educational and therapeutic interventions. Assess student progress, adapting curriculum as needed to optimize learning outcomes. Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers to provide updates on progress and receive feedback. Participate in continuing education and training programs provided by Spectrum360 to improve professional skills. Required Skills Strong understanding of educational needs for children with autism and related disabilities. Experience with behavior management practices and adaptive learning tools. Ability to write and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Solid organizational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
