Job Description

Step into a role supporting young learners growth as a Special Education Teacher for an In-Class Resource 1st grade classroom. This contract position begins August 29th and runs through November 6th. Youll be working onsite, supporting students in a single school setting. Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey special education license preferred Previous experience working with early elementary students, especially in an in-class resource or similar setting Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and support staff Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized education and accommodations for 1st grade students within a resource room setting Collaborate with the classroom teacher, paraeducators, and other staff Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring Regularly communicate with families and school staff regarding student progress This position offers the chance to focus your expertise in one building and grade level, ensuring continuity and deep connections with your students.
