Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Job Description

As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a full-time Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) to provide in-person services like case management, evaluations, and IEP meetings for public elementary school students grades Prek-3rd. This position is for the current school year. Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC)
Salary Range:
$55-$63 per hour Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC)
Qualifications:
School Certification in the state of New Jersey Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain) Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC)
