This full-time contract opportunity runs from October 8th through at least April, and possibly extending to June, offering you a rewarding role in both science and math instruction. What Were Looking For:
Valid TOSD (Teacher of Students with Disabilities) certification plus either K-6, Math 6-9, or Science 6-9 certification TOH credential Previous experience or strong interest in special education, particularly within inclusion settings Confidence and adaptability with IEP management (experience with Real Time IEP system a plus) Skill in fostering an inclusive, engaging classroom atmosphere Commitment to helping students with high-functioning autism reach their full potential
What Youll Do:
Co-teach science and math to a classroom of up to 20 students (currently 18), with a specialized caseload of 8 students Collaborate with general education teachers to deliver differentiated instruction and support Implement and track IEP goals, ensuring each students unique academic needs are met Cultivate a positive, respectful classroom environment that values diversity and inclusion Communicate regularly with parents, related service providers, and school staff to provide holistic support Step into a role where your dedication and specialized skills will be valued and make a real impact.
