Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt lessons and materials based on student needs Current understanding of special education laws and best practices

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver differentiated instruction in alignment with students IEPs Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure student success Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed Foster a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment Effectively manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and team planning
