Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Shape the future for exceptional learners in a unique, collaborative educational setting! This contract-based opportunity calls for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with middle and high school students (grades 6-12) in a combined program focused on both special education and transitional support. The environment is specially designed outside traditional district space, fostering a supportive atmosphere for up to 56 students and enabling access to innovative services alongside district partners.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification for New Jersey Experience teaching students with a range of academic, behavioral, and social/emotional needs Prior work with middle and high school learners strongly preferred Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring Commitment to supporting academic and life skills, empowering students toward post-school success Collaborative mindset to work alongside school districts and support professionals
