e2112-08540 Job Description Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a dedicated educator specializing in visual impairments. This full-time, on-site contract position supports a pediatric student in a 1:1 setting, offering the opportunity to build strong, impactful connections while applying your expertise in a supportive educational environment. Candidates from outside the area and travel professionals are encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (B.A.) required Active state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Experience working 1:1 with pediatric students preferred Ability to adapt instruction and materials for diverse learning needs Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging classroom experience Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction to a visually impaired student in a school setting Develop, modify, and implement lesson plans tailored to the students IEP goals Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and caregivers to ensure student success Monitor student progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings Provide resources, strategies, and support for classroom accessibility and optimal learning Maintain a positive, nurturing, and safe environment focused on student empowerment Enjoy a rewarding contract role that provides robust support and professional benefits, including health and dental insurance, company-matched 401(k), and the reliability of competitive weekly pay.
