Job Description

Special Education Teacher (ABA) -
One-on-One PositionLocation:
Palisades, NYSchedule:
Monday-Friday, approximately 10:00 AM-4:00 PM (6 hours/day)

Pay:
$30-$50/hour, commensurate with experience We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Special Education Teacher to provide one-on-one support for a child in the Palisades, NY area. This position involves working with the child in the home and community, implementing educational and behavioral goals while fostering independence, communication, and social skills. No prior ABA experience is required—we will provide comprehensive training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one educational and behavioral support for one child. Implement individualized learning and behavior plans. Participate in home- and community-based activities to promote functional life skills. Collect data and document progress. Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and family. Maintain a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in special education or ABA (required). Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (required). Master's degree preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to the Palisades, NY area. Compassionate, patient, dependable, and eager to learn ABA principles.
