A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Job Description

Behavioral/One-on-One Aides Private special education school for students with multiple disabilities seeks full time Behavioral Aides and One-on-One Aides to serve students with Individualized Education Plans that present a wide variety of learning and cognitive profiles. Experience with ABA and behavioral supports is a plus for Behavioral Aides. High School Diploma required for One-on-One Aides. Please email letter of interest and resume. Located in our beautiful, new campus in Voorhees, NJ. The spacious campus houses all of our programs in a bright and open building. From our Pre-School Program to our Community-Based Instruction Program - you can be a part of our growth! Great location to shopping centers, restaurants, and convenient access to Rte 295.
