An immediate opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher, covering the full school year with a schedule from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Youll provide vital services across four local schools, ensuring your impact reaches students who need it most (caseload: 3040 students). Your home base will be within the district, but please note that direct services are not provided at the home base location. Experience with elementary caseloads and a background in conducting evaluations are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid New Jersey teaching certificationSpecial Education/Learning Disability Teacher Certification required NJ Technology Certification required Experience performing student evaluations in elementary settings Previous work supporting student learning and IEP goals in K-5 special education Flexible mindset to work in multiple locations within the district Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
