Key Qualifications:
Valid NJ Teaching Certification NJ Tech Certification required Special Education Certification (SPED/Learning Disability Teacher-C for the 2026-2027 school year) Previous experience with student evaluations in a school setting Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) for elementary caseloads Ability to travel between four local school sites during the workweek
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction to elementary students with disabilities in small groups and one-on-one Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs Conduct thorough student evaluations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Work schedule is MondayFriday, 8 am4 pm, aligned with the full school year Serve a caseload of approximately 3040 students, fostering their academic and social growth
