9653870-87029 Job Description Step into a dynamic educational environment near Lindrith, NM, supporting PreK12 studentsprimarily 6th to 8th gradethrough dedicated special education services. This contract position is available to start as soon as possible and extends through May 27, 2027, offering a chance to make a lasting impact on a manageable caseload of 12 students. Responsibilities include providing both pull-out and push-in special education services, with oversight from initial screening through IEP development and implementation. Youll ensure each student receives appropriate assessments, identification, and placement, as well as maintain complete, compliant IEP and evaluation documentation. Collaborating closely with principals, department heads, and other educators, youll help foster an inclusive atmosphere where all students can thrive.

Key Qualifications:

Current New Mexico teaching certificate in Special Education (required) Experience teaching or supporting special education students, especially grades 68, preferred Strong understanding of IDEA and special education compliance requirements Proficiency in organizing and maintaining student records and IEPs Excellent communication and teamwork skills to facilitate student integration

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver pull-out and push-in special education services Complete, review, and monitor IEPs and evaluation reports for compliance at all levels Support proper identification and placement of students with disabilities Ensure timely evaluations for new students and ongoing monitoring of progress Partner with colleagues to maximize inclusive learning opportunities This full-time role consists of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and offers highly competitive compensation at $40 per hour, paid weekly.
