Qualifications:
Bachelors (or higher) degree in Special Education or related field Valid Special Education teaching certification for Nevada (or eligibility for reciprocal licensure) Experience developing and implementing IEPs Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills Previous exposure to various learning disabilities and classroom modifications
Responsibilities:
Assess students skills and learning needs, developing individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide tailored instruction and interventions for students with disabilities Collaborate closely with general education teachers, administrators, and parents Utilize available resources and technology to enhance learning Maintain accurate records and progress reports per district and state regulations
