Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors degree (B.A.) is required Must hold state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Experience working with pediatric students, preferably in a 1:1 setting Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Willingness to work on-site and adapt to the needs of the student

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to a visually impaired students needs Collaborate with faculty, therapists, and families to develop and implement effective learning strategies Monitor and document progress, adjusting approaches as needed to achieve educational goals Support the development of independence and self-advocacy skills Ensure a safe, inclusive classroom environment Maintain timely communication with the educational team and parents
