A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.
Floater Teacher - Christian Preschool Full-Time Preferred Monday-Friday Set Schedule Ages 0-5 Make a difference in the lives of children while sharing the love of Jesus and supporting our preschool team every day. We are seeking a dependable, flexible, and team-oriented Floater Teacher who has a heart for young children and a passion for serving wherever they are needed. The Floater is a consistent member of our team who works in different classrooms throughout the day based on staffing needs and may assist with both classroom and preschool-wide tasks. What You'll Do Support Teachers and Teacher Assistants with daily classroom routines and activities Work with children ages 0-5 in various classrooms Provide coverage for staff breaks, absences, and changing classroom needs Assist with supervision, transitions, meals, playground time, and rest time Support academic, social-emotional, and Bible-based learning Participate in prayer, praise and worship, and Bible lessons Help with classroom preparation, organization, and cleaning Assist with preschool-wide tasks such as making copies, preparing materials, organizing supplies, and other projects as needed Follow all state licensing, health and safety regulations, and school policies Model Christ-like character and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment Jump in wherever needed to support the success of the preschool What We're Looking For A genuine love for Jesus and a desire to share His love with children Dependable, consistent, and hard-working Comfortable working with all ages, infants through preschool (0-5) Flexible and able to transition between classrooms and responsibilities Positive attitude and a servant's heart Strong teamwork and communication skills Willingness to learn, grow, and receive feedback Calm, patient, and organized in a busy environment Professional and presentable Experience with young children preferred, but not required Reliable transportation Pay & Benefits Full-time preferred; part-time opportunities may be available Set Monday-Friday schedule Paid time off, holiday pay, and vacation pay Supportive, faith-centered work environment Opportunities for growth and development Why Join Us?
