We're seeking two dedicated special education professionals to join a high-energy team serving the district's highest-needs campus, uniquely situated on Nellis Air Force Base near Henderson, NV. This opportunity runs through May 31, 2027, offering stability and the chance to make a lasting impact. As a full-time special education teacher (7:30 AM3:30 PM), you will teach in self-contained classrooms with a primary focus on students with Autism. Caseloads are capped at 13 students per teacher, with up to 810 students in the classroom at any given time and ongoing assistance from multiple paraprofessionals. Students attend specials alongside assigned aides, ensuring consistent support in all activities.

Qualifications:

Active Nevada Special Education Teaching License required Previous experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders and high-needs student populations strongly preferred Background in elementary and/or middle school settings desirable Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families Commitment to fostering inclusion, structure, and a positive classroom climate

Role Responsibilities:
