Teacher provides instructional services to youth who have been determined eligible to prepare for and successfully complete the GED examination. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Develop and implement lesson plans, instructional materials, and learning activities that address diverse learning styles and ability levels. Assess student performance, track academic progress, and maintain educational records. Collaborate with educational staff, secure detention staff, administrators, parents, and other stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education preferred. 3-5 years of experience in GED programs for young adults. Knowledge of effective instructional practices, curriculum development, and student assessment. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Schedule and Compensation Part-time, 20 hours per week.
Rate of pay:
$35.00 per hour.
