Job Description
Alternative Tutoring is currently seeking Special Education teachers for full-time school positions from 7:30 AM to 4:15 PM at a rate of $350 per day. Alternative Tutoring is a home instruction agency that contracts with local school districts in Nassau County. In addition to our full-time recruitment, we offer flexible home instruction opportunities for students unable to attend school. If you are not placed in a full-time role, you may join our home instruction team. Home instruction details

Flexibility:
You can manage your own caseload and schedule based on your availability

Location:
Instruction takes place in the student's home or a public library.

Responsibility:
Teachers coordinate weekly appointments with parents and provide instruction in their certification area using materials provided by the classroom teacher.
Requirements:
•Valid New York State teaching certification
