Key Qualifications:

Valid New York State Teaching License with a high school endorsement. All required certifications for working in an ED (Emotional Disabilities) high school classroom setting. Experience working with special education students in a school environment, especially at the high school level. Flexibility to work as a Teachers Assistant or long-term sub, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead or assist in an 11th/12th grade classroom, supporting students academic and social growth. Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with varying needs. Collaborate with general and special education staff to promote student success. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive classroom environment. Deliver onsite support onlythis assignment requires physical presence.
