Category Schools - Visually Impaired Teacher - Telehealth Job Type Contract A part-time opportunity is available for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments, utilizing telehealth platforms to ensure accessibility and individualized learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and support to visually impaired students through telehealth methods. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with visual impairments. Collaborate with educational staff and families to promote student progress. Utilize assistive technology and resources appropriate for visually impaired learners. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards.

Desired Qualifications:

Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired. Experience delivering instruction via telehealth or remote platforms. Strong knowledge of assistive technologies and educational strategies for visually impaired students. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage scheduling in a part-time contract role.
