Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing support and implementing behavior management strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in promoting positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA. Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes. Educate clients and their families on behavioral strategies and techniques. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of services provided. Assist in the development of treatment plans based on research data collection. Provide patient care that promotes independence and skill development. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, to ensure comprehensive care. Utilize medical terminology appropriately in documentation and communication. Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills in behavioral health and therapy. Qualifications Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician or pending (RBT) is required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate clients and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
