Special Education Teacher (Middle School) Queensbury Union Free School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Special Education Teacher to join our Middle School team beginning September 1, 2026 .

Minimum Starting Salary:

$52,255 Actual salary based on education and experience. Qualifications Candidates must possess valid New York State Special Education certification in one of the following: Students with Disabilities (All Grades) Students with Disabilities (Grades 16) Students with Disabilities (Grades 59) Students with Disabilities (Grades 712) Generalist or Content Specialist Position Responsibilities This position includes a combination of: Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) Consultant Teacher Services Resource Room Instruction The successful candidate will: Develop engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners. Implement IEPs and provide individualized instruction. Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation. Collaborate with teachers, specialists, administrators, and families. Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Participate in student support teams, professional development, and school initiatives.
