Successful candidates will have:

A valid K-12 or K-6 Special Education (SPED) teaching certification Master's degree in Special Education or a closely related field Experience or passion for working with elementary caseloads Ability to create inclusive, engaging lesson plans and individualized education programs (IEPs) Strong communication skills to collaborate with fellow staff and families Flexibility, organization, and a commitment to fostering each student's growth What you'll be doing: Providing direct instruction and support to elementary students with a variety of learning needs Developing and implementing IEPs to address individual educational goals Differentiating instruction and adapting materials for student accessibility Collaborating with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, service providers, and families Maintaining ongoing documentation of student progress and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment This full-time contract position offers pay up to $50 per hour commensurate with experience and education.
