These are full-time onsite contract roles within dynamic self-contained classrooms, serving students placed according to their individual education plans, academic levels, and behavioral support requirements. Classrooms are thoughtfully staffed, each with a lead teacher and a team of three support professionals, ensuring personalized attention and collaborative instruction.

Kindergarten/Elementary Special Education Teacher (Grades 13 focus)

Schedule:

MondayFriday, 8:30 AM3:30 PM Preschool Special Education Teacher (SFP Program)

PM What Were Looking For:

Valid Special Education Teaching Certification in New York (Early Childhood, Grades K12, or relevant area) Experience in self-contained special education settings preferred Understanding of IEPs and adapting instruction to individualized goals Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with support staff and related service providers Ability to address behavioral needs and implement support plans when required Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and growth-oriented classroom environment
