Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a teacher assistant and a team of educators to provide career exploration through a project-based integrated approach.

Duties include:

• Collaborate with English and Social Studies teacher and local industry representatives to develop project-based, problem solving activities that align to the Common Core Learning Standards
• Develop students 21st Century skills in the context of exploration of the 16 national career clusters

Experience / Training

in project-based learning preferred. Applicants with business, agriculture, manufacturing or skilled trades experience preferred. Certification as a Career and Technical Education instructor is a prerequisite for an interview.
