We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Yonkers, NY. As an Early Intervention Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism and related disorders in Yonkers, NY. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs.
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree special education (MSED)
  • Teacher's certification for students with disabilities birth
  • grade 2
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize early intervention strategies and learning technologies to promote literacy and social skills.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • State certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with children with special needs, specifically those with developmental disabilities and autism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
