$46-$53/hour (based on experience) EDU-AIDs is seeking dedicated and compassionate full time Special Education Teacher to support kindergarten students in Yonkers, NY for the 2026-2027 school year. We have full-time opportunity available with kindergarten grade levels.
Position Highlights:
Full-time, school-year assignment Competitive hourly pay: $46-$53/hour Health insurance Continuing education and professional learning support Key Responsibilities Deliver individualized and differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning needs. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, school administrators, and families to support student success. Foster a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes academic, behavioral, and social growth. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and district requirements. Required Qualifications Valid New York Special Education Teaching License for Kindergarten. Minimum one year of experience in a Special Education classroom. Strong knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, classroom management, and progress monitoring. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
