Preferred Qualifications:
Active Special Education teaching certification for the state of Ohio Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field Experience developing and implementing IEPs Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavioral management strategies Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with families, administrators, and other team members Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to teaching diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, adapt, and deliver lessons tailored to students' IEP goals and unique learning styles Conduct assessments to evaluate educational progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to provide inclusive educational experiences Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and monitor compliance with district, state, and federal requirements Engage families and caregivers in ongoing communication regarding student growth and needs Contribute positively to school culture and participate in professional development
